Accounting standards can feel overwhelming. I know this because I have spent about ten years dedicated to reading them, interpreting them, and explaining them to others. What I discovered over time is that the difficulty often does not come from the standards themselves, but from the way they are usually presented. Long texts, dense explanations, and too much detail too early can make even experienced accountants feel lost. My work focuses on doing the opposite: identifying the concepts that truly matter and explaining them clearly, so accountants can understand how the standards work and apply them with confidence in practice.
